Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport where two teams take turns batting and fielding. The batting team tries to score runs, while the fielding team tries to get players out.

🏁 The Basics of Baseball

Baseball is played with:

• 9 players per team

• a bat and ball

• the batter tries to hit the ball

• if the ball is hit, the batter runs to first base

• players continue around bases to score runs

Teams switch between batting and fielding after three outs.

• batters attempt to hit the pitched ball

• after hitting, they run to bases

• must reach bases safely to continue play

🎯 Pitching

• aims to get the batter out

• pitches must be thrown within a strike zone

• aim to get batters and runners out
