A squash court has standard dimensions used in both recreational and professional play. The court is fully enclosed with four walls and includes several important lines that define play.

📐 Court Dimensions
The official squash court size is:
• length: 9.75 metres
• width: 6.4 metres
• height (front wall): 4.57 metres
These dimensions are consistent across all levels of play.
🎯 Front Wall Lines
The front wall is the main target area and includes key markings:
• service line: 1.78 metres from the floor
• tin (bottom boundary): 48 centimetres high
• out-of-bounds line: top boundary of the wall
The ball must hit above the tin and below the out-of-bounds line.
📍 Service Boxes
• located on both sides of the court
• used during serves
players must have at least one foot in the service box when serving
Court Layout
A squash court includes:
• front wall (main hitting surface)
• side walls (used for angles)
• back wall (often glass in professional courts)
Players can use all walls during rallies.
